OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Springfield, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate nationwide dry van routes for HMD Trucking based near Springfield, IL as a solo OTR CDL-A driver. Expect long-haul assignments averaging about 2,500 miles weekly with competitive mileage pay beginning at 65¢ per mile plus safety and referral bonuses.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Drive and secure loads in modern dry van tractors (under 3 years) outfitted with APUs, inverters, and sleepers.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and follow DOT and company safety standards.
• Communicate with dispatch and manage delivery schedules.

Requirements & Perks:
