Surgical Technologist

Surgical Technologist FTE: .75, Shift: Days, Schedule: 06:45‑17:15; variable weekdays, call required, some holiday work required. Position Summary The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The role includes assembly, set‑up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during procedures. Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, requiring both directed and independent decision‑making. Responsibilities Assist with patient and operating room preparation under RN supervision. Assemble, set up, and use surgical instrumentation and equipment. Respond to routine, emergent, or critical situations in the operating room. Qualifications Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required. National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly rate ranging from $32.56 to $53.82 USD, adjusted for skill set, experience, and certification.
