Job Description Job Description Job Description: Dr. Kanwaljit Gill is looking for a full time front/back office Medical Assistant to join our practice. Clinical Duties: * Answering phones * Greet patients when they arrive * Provide them with the necessary forms to fill out before their appointments * Verify patients' insurance information * Scheduling appointments. * Take vital signs, weight, screening, and testing under the direction of a physician or Nurse Practitioner (EKG, Holter's) * Process clinical documentation using electronic medical record system while maintaining security compliance standards. Education: High school diploma or GED, MA Certification Experience: Prior experience in medical assisting is preferred. However, each application will be evaluated on its own merit. Performance Requirements: * Creates a professional, friendly, and welcoming environment for patients * Takes personal responsibility for accurate and timely execution of routine job duties * Willingly accepts additional duties and/or projects as needed
