Doctor of Medicine | Pain Medicine Location: Galesburg, IL Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 1/11/2027 About the Position We are seeking a skilled Pain Management Physician for a 36-day assignment in Illinois, commencing Nov 2, 2026. This role focuses on delivering outpatient interventional pain management services during 7 AM to 5 PM shifts. The physician will primarily perform procedures, without responsibilities for general anesthesia or chronic medication management. Responsibilities and Duties Provide outpatient interventional pain management services. Evaluate patients and determine appropriate interventional treatment plans. Perform fluoroscopy-guided and other image-guided pain procedures. Procedures include lumbar epidural steroid injections, cervical epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, radiofrequency ablations, facet joint injections, and hip and other joint injections. Follow up with patients after procedures and address clinical questions or concerns. Provide consultations and assist with overflow cases as needed. Focus exclusively on interventional procedures; no general anesthesia or chronic pain medication management responsibilities. Additional Information Board Certification in Pain Management required. EMR: Epic. Work in an exclusively outpatient interventional pain setting.
