Position Description

This position assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets.

Position Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering or related-filled position. Entry level graduate up to 2 years of experience preferred, or 2-4 years progressive construction related trade experience
• 3-5 years previous experience in commercial construction industry or related field with workable knowledge of all construction documents and process
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Computer software - Microsoft Office SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word; and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship(s) or Co-ops with previous construction company is desired
• ​​​​​Experience with Procore, Builder Trend, Bluebeam and similar programs

Essential Duties

• Data entry, record keeping and administrative support
• Coordinates and documents all information with and between Architect/Engineer, owner reps and Project Managers
• Assist with day-to-day planning, coordination and documentation of preconstruction services; project start-up and scheduling; project administration, coordination and close-out; provides excellent customer service
• Actively participates in industry, client events
