Skilled Carpenter & Framer

Job Description
UCP Staffing is seeking skilled and reliable Carpenters and Framers to join our construction team in Saint George. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and have a strong background in residential or commercial wood framing.
In this role, you will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures ranging from framework to finish work. Whether you are a helper, experienced lead or a skilled journeyman, we have projects that will challenge your skills and provide a great work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Framing: Construct wall frameworks, floor joists, rafters, and trusses according to blueprints and local building codes.
Layout & Measurement: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Installation: Install windows, doors, siding, and exterior trim.
Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools (circular saws, nail guns, levels, etc.).
Blueprint Reading: Interpret sketches and building plans to ensure project specifications are met.
Safety: Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and UCP compliance standards.

Qualifications
Experience: professional experience in carpentry or wood framing.
Skills: Strong knowledge of framing techniques, building materials, and construction tools.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Tools: Must have basic personal hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites.
Reliability: Punctual, hard-working, and able to work effectively within a team.
