May’s Drive-In – Lewisburg - 2675 State Route 405, Milton, PA

May’s Drive-In is looking for Cashiers to join our team. We’re a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant with a strong local following, and we take pride in serving quality products to our customers.

Position Type:

• Part-time or full-time available
• Early afternoon to night (8PM)
• Weekend availability strongly preferred

Availability Requirements (non-negotiable)

• Minimum 15 hours per week
• Must be available at least one weekend day per week
• Must be available for evening and closing shifts
• Must be available on holidays and busy days throughout the year (Mother's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July day/weekend, Graduation weekend, Labor Day, etc.) — availability is mandatory on these days and requests will not be approved. We are closed for all major holidays
• Schedules are posted weekly — we need employees who can commit to consistent, reliable availability
• Significant changes to availability during the season must be communicated to management immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Accurately take customer orders in person or over the phone
• Process payments correctly (cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, mobile pay)
• Operate the POS system efficiently and enter orders without errors
• Handle cash responsibly, including giving correct change
• Maintain a clean and organized front counter area
• Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, and pricing
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints politely and professionally
• Follow food safety and company policies to our standards

Qualifications:

• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
