Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and DeliveryWe are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse with a specialty in Labor and Delivery to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to mothers during labor and delivery, as well as caring for newborns in the immediate post-delivery period.Position InformationRole: Registered Nurse (RN)Specialty: OB (Labor and Delivery)Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36Weekend Hours: 48 per monthFloating Requirements: Yes, to Mother/BabyUnit ProfileDepartment: Labor and DeliveryNumber of Openings: 1Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelinesFacilities: 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, 3 triage bedsPatient Population: AdultsQualificationsRequired Certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRPYears of Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experienceRequired Skills: Experience in OR circulation, mother/baby care, and triage (preferred but not required)Common Diagnosis/Treatment: LaborPersonality Fit: Must possess flexibility and strong communication skillsAdditional InformationEquipment Used: EHR systems including Centricity and ParagonSupervisor: Melissa WilsonDress CodeScrubs should be blue or blue/green in color.
