This will be accomplished by 1) advocating for and promoting Cockrell school engineers to industry partners, educational institutions, technical programs, and other experiential learning prospects; 2) formulating and driving strategic early-career recruitment engagement; 3) fostering existing professional relationships while cultivating new ones; and 4) working in tandem with ECAC team, Cockrell school staff, and university faculty.ResponsibilitiesAttend conferences and professional development meetings pertinent to creating recruiting connections.Collaborate on employer-led events such as lobby days, info sessions, lunch n’ learns, and others with emphasis on customer service and relationship retention.Communicate recruiting guidelines and policies to ensure adherence to ECAC’s standards and expectations of employer behavior (or employment practices).Design and implement outreach campaigns to identify new potential businesses and key contacts, particularly in industries with sparse representation.Direct ECAC-led and ECAC co-led career fairs, the largest of which hosts 300+ employers and 3000+ students.Oversee collection and tracking of employer engagement and recruitment data, including consultations, engagements, and outcomes.Represent ECAC and the Cockrell School at events, committee meetings, and work-groups.Serve as liaison between employer partners and other UT offices, including, but not limited to: individual academic departments, development office, campus career centers, Dean’s office, etc.Serve as primary contact for all hiring and industry partners, providing them with effective and ethical recruitment strategy recommendations.Supervise and support employer relations team with their duties and responsibilities; conduct performance evaluations annually.Perform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated experience in creating and leading programs with large number of various stakeholders.Adeptness with large scale event planning with precise attention to detail.Proven project management and organizational skills with ability to lead small groups and committees.Experience with career management platforms and/or applicant tracking systems.Experience with database or customer relationship management (CRM) platform, and/or ability to learn new technology quickly.Independent decision making and problem-solving ability.
