Registered Nurse - PACU

Role Overview: As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, managing airway support, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding to complications. You will perform initial wound care, ensure patient stability, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout your shift Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up Participate in interdisciplinary team activities, including rounding and providing input on patient care Respond promptly to post-operative complications and side effects Qualifications And Skills RN license with a Diploma or equivalent Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment Strong critical thinking, scientific judgment, and technical nursing skills On-call availability during select non-business hours Work Environment & Support: Supportive leadership, staffing assistance from trained professionals, and opportunities for self-scheduling and feedback through leadership rounding. #J-18808-Ljbffr Aura Health, Inc.
