Title
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Schedule
3x12-hour Nights
Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per contract)

Assignment Details
Daily census: ~23 patients

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with telemetry/stepdown cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
- Central and peripheral line care; blood product administration
- Non-invasive airway management (BIPAP/CPAP, IPPB, HHF)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a progressive care environment.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry readings, and respond to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies, including line care and blood product administration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in rapid response and code team situations as needed.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- 100-mile radius rule - no local candidates
- Onboarding: core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
