General Manager – Plumbing & HVAC Operations

Location: Lexington, South Carolina
Full-Time | $86,000–$120,000/year

What You'll Do:

As the General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Plumbing and HVAC divisions while working closely with ownership to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and develop high-performing teams.

This role requires a strategic leader who is comfortable making data-driven decisions, managing financial performance, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Plumbing, HVAC, Office, and Operations teams
• Lead department managers and hold teams accountable for performance goals
• Manage budgets, profitability, and overall financial performance
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
• Improve technician productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop managers and team members
• Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and best practices
• Develop systems that improve workflow and operational efficiency
• Partner with ownership to execute strategic business goals
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience across all departments

What We're Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience managing service-based operations
• Minimum of five years of management experience in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, or a similar home service industry
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong financial and business management skills
• Experience managing budgets, profitability, and operational performance
• Ability to interpret financial reports, KPIs, and business metrics
• Experience coaching managers and developing future leaders
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to build strong teams while maintaining high performance standards
