Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including triage, circulating during procedures, and recovery in PACU as assigned.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, document progress, administer medications as ordered, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to support safe, evidence-based care.
- Maintain accurate charting and handoffs, adhere to infection control protocols, and uphold patient safety standards.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and postoperative expectations.
- Ensure compliance with unit policies, accrediting standards, and privacy regulations.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligible to practice in Georgia)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BLS certification required; NRP and ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts in a fast-paced obstetric setting
- Willingness to participate in travel assignments and adapt to new facilities
