About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Investor Relations with a focus on healthcare and life sciences. The successful candidate will be a senior client advisor and business leader, responsible for the development and execution of customized investor relations and communications strategies. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining high-quality and consistent deliverables, and serving as the primary client relationship lead. The Managing Director will also be involved in team leadership and development, business growth, and operational initiatives, and will be expected to contribute to strategic leadership and thought leadership initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience in investor relations, healthcare, life sciences, finance, communications, or consulting, with a strong preference for those with prior agency or advisory experience. The role requires a strong network within the healthcare, biotechnology, and investment communities, excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking capabilities, and a proven track record in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced client-service environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, recognized subject matter expertise in investor relations and capital markets communications, and experience in business development and client acquisition. The position demands a leader with a commitment to organizational growth, collaboration, and team success, who can also demonstrate the ability to influence key stakeholders and contribute to the long-term business strategy.
