Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise individualized therapy protocols to help them reach their personal functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure well-rounded, holistic care
• Guide Patients and Family Members: Educate patients and their families in therapy techniques to ensure ongoing progress outside the clinical setting
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on their recovery path

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouraged ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
