CDL B Driver - Local

This driver will transport, remove, deliver, and collect oil and water from customer sites. Will be required to load and unload trucks. They will also have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and any other equipment that fits their license on site if necessary. Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate vacuum equipment, and other equipment as needed • Follow company policies and procedures as well as various on-site • Provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL • Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for compliance • Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance • Participate in safety programs such as safety meetings, near miss reporting and job hazard assessments • Work independently while managing time and productivity and communicate effectively • Maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed • Exceptional customer service and communication skills • Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting • Knowledge to perform minor maintenance on units to maintain efficient operation • Possesses cleanliness and organizational skills • Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned. • Normally home daily but there could be some short-term travel and overnight on occasion Requirements: • Valid CDL B with clean driving record. • Experience in Industrial vacuum truck an asset but not required • Tanker endorsement required, Hazmat preferred - GFL will assist with obtaining Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement if not currently held. • Must be able to drive manual transmissions. #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
