Case Coordination Supervisor

Case Coordination Supervisor Located in Phoenix, AZ, the Case Coordination Supervisor manages staff providing direct client services within the Case Coordination Program. The Supervisor plans and implements programming, coordinates service delivery, supervises staff, ensures program goals are met, and satisfies budgetary, compliance and reporting responsibilities for the assigned portfolio. Major Responsibilities Guide the implementation of the Case Coordination program and ensure all services are completed in a timely manner. Support staff in monitoring client progress, evaluating the effectiveness of the care plan and making adjustments as needed. Advocate for client needs and facilitate access to appropriate resources and services, including employability, family stability, housing stability, urgent healthcare, legal services, and other public benefits. Assign cases to caseworkers and ensure enrollment into the program within two business days. Collaborate with other departments to encourage timely internal and external referrals. Partnership Building Identify and maintain relationships with local government and community‑based organizations to connect clients with necessary benefits and services. Documentation, Reporting and Contract Compliance Maintain case file documentation in compliance with contract requirements. Guide the timely implementation of program updates as needed. Assist with the preparation for all monitoring visits, including IRC, state, and federal agencies. Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with all funding requirements and communicate program needs to the management team. Staff Supervision and Other Responsibilities Cultivate a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment for team members and clients. Recruit, train, and manage the team in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards. Provide daily oversight of active caseload and maintain close communication with staff regarding challenging cases. Carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure responsive, appropriate, and client‑centered service delivery. Represent IRC in public, professional, and governmental forums as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in social work or a related field. Experience: 2–3 years implementing domestic refugee resettlement or similar programs; experience supervising, supporting, and training staff strongly preferred. Program management experience and responsibility for budget management preferred. Skills and competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; ability to work effectively as a team member in a multicultural environment; excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in a client‑population language a plus. Valid driver’s license, reliable access to a vehicle with current insurance, and the ability to travel regularly within the service delivery area. Working Environment Combination of standard office environment and field time in and around the service delivery area; may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Compensation and Benefits Short‑term role (anticipated end date September30,2026) with a pay rate of $63,296.10. Short‑term employees are eligible for a 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer match (immediate vesting) and a non‑elective employer contribution based on age and years of service (3‑year vesting). Paid sick leave in accordance with policy and access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Short‑term positions are not eligible for the full IRC benefits package.
