Concrete Foreman

Job Description A growing contractor in Minnesota is growing and has an immediate need to add a pursuing a Concrete Foreman to their team. This role offers room to grow with a company that’s actively expanding. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures a safe work environment for all employees. Assembles members of the organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at the start of the project. Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work phases of each project to achieve schedules. Confers with and directs subordinate supervisory personnel to perform contract work scope. Inspects and supervises all work in progress at all levels and work locations to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that production schedules are adhered to. Prepares or receives from subordinates, reports on productivity, progress, materials used, cost, and adjusts work schedules and execution plans as indicated by reports. May direct workers involved in major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations. Workers are usually designated according to the type of project, work construction activity directed, and skill-sets required. Establishes and oversees the means, methods, and schedule for performance of the scope of work. Requirements 3+ years of previous experience as a Superintendent in concrete construction. Experience must include flatwork for commercial builds. Must possess a broad understanding of all aspects of construction including on-site inspection, verification of conformance with Contract Documents, scheduling, project budget/costs, progress reporting, and project closeout. Must possess strong leadership ability to supervise team members, sub-contractors, and provide administrative backup to achieve our client's total satisfaction. Must interface with our client and make sure any problems that arise are resolved quickly.
