Nationwide Electrician/Tester in Wakefield

Nationwide Electrician/Tester Meridian are working with a Yorkshire-based company that cover MEP projects across the UK. They are once again growing their team of permanent electrical engineers due to the demands of increasing workload. Projects will typically include commercial fit-outs or compliance and FM-related duties meaning there will be a mixture of installation as well as Inspection and Testing duties, so an existing 2391 (or equivalent) is beneficial. Benefits Starting salary c.£36k p.a based off a 37.5-hour week Company van and supporting fuel card Vast additional earning potential including extra hours, overtime, and weekend work (realistic earnings of £50k+ p.a) Working nationwide on a variety of commercial projects and locations across the UK Paid accommodation allowance when working away from home Additional meal allowance when working away from home Company pension scheme Additional training and upskilling available, with many examples of company progression 21 days holiday allowance (plus bank holidays), with optional additional holiday allowance scheme in place Requirements Gold JIB card BS7671 18th Edition 2391 Testing Qualification (desirable but not essential) IPAF and PASMA not essential but is a bonus Experience with Electrical Inspecting and Testing, as well as Electrical installation Previous experience in commercial and industrial projects such as offices, retail, commercial building fit outs etc. Must have a strong compliance and HSE focus, prioritising safety and correct standards of Electrical installation Full, UK Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role) Ability to work nationwide Company tools and uniform are provided Duties Helping to install Electrical building services such as 1st and 2nd fix of commercial and industrial projects Ability to safely and effectively Inspect and Test electrical installations Help HSE and project sign offs by assisting with the end of project reports Working closely with Electricians on site as well as management teams to provide technical support on compliance, reports, and project paperwork Keeping up to date with industry regulations and HSE governing bodies to ensure compliance and accurate Inspection & Testing reports Balancing a mixture of office-based and onsite duties If you're looking for a role as an Electrician in a growing team that work on a variety of projects nationwide, then please apply directly to the advert or email (url removed) for more information Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline CVL
