Currently you will average two weekend days a month and you will have a three day weekend every third weekend

The plant is investing 60M in their manufacturing area

YOU will average 40-45 hours a week and receive paid overtime

3rd shift hours: Two weeks you will work Sunday-Thursday night, 10 p.m. to 6:10 a.m. The third week you will work Sunday-Wednesday night, 8 p.m. to 6:10 a.m. and will have a three day weekend

You will average two weekend days per month

Leading tier I automotive supplier is seeking a shift Production Supervisor to oversee production in a performing, smooth running area of the plant. As the Production Supervisor, you will report to an Assistant Manager. Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks in a specific area of the plant:

• Meeting and tracking production requirements and metrics
• Training, coaching, mentoring and evaluating the hourly workforce
• Ensuring shift safety, quality and delivery goals are met
• Assisting with identifying process improvements
• Leading the shift start-up meeting and attending other meetings as needed
• Following the production schedule and making modifications as needed
• Reviewing and confirming shift paperwork and production numbers
• Communicating with 1st and 2nd shift production supervisors at shift change
• Confirming time sheets, vacation and time off within the timekeeping system
• Conducting reviews on line leaders and associates
• Ensuring that training is completed for new and current staff
• Other duties as directed by management

This is a hands-on position that requires qualified candidates to be on the production floor 100% of their day. Candidates should enjoy leading others and holding people accountable, have attention to detail, work well within a team environment and have excellent communication skills. It will be required to train on day shift prior to moving to your assigned shift. Requirements for the Production Supervisor:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Experience overseeing others in a manufacturing environment
• Experience overseeing at least 10-15 people at a time
• Microsoft Office experience, including BASIC Excel skills

Skills preferred but NOT required:

• Production scheduling
• ERP experience
• Automotive supplier experience
• Non-union supervision
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
