Per Diem Hospitalist

The Section of General Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Hospitalist to provide per diem services at CHI St. Luke's Hospitals in the Houston area. The ideal candidates are patient-centered and committed to excellence in providing quality care in an inpatient setting. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and be willing to commit to working seven twelve-hour shifts per academic year.

Job duties include positions with direct inpatient care. Seven on seven off block schedule, compensation is based on current moonlighting rates and staffed as needed. Malpractice insurance provided and position includes a Baylor College of Medicine faculty appointment - rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Minimum qualifications include an MD or DO, board certified or board eligible, and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Baylor College of Medicine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Equal Access Employer.
