Overview Student‑Ambassador (Summer‑2026) is a student‑full‑time position within the Admissions Department at Southwestern Michigan College. Ambassadors are enthusiastic representatives of the student body, promoting the college’s programs and services in collaboration with faculty, staff, prospective students, and their parents. Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks. Prepare and distribute mailing information packets. Package SMC marketing materials. Conduct campus tours for prospective students and families. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries. Assist in various campus events, school visits, and outreach efforts. Collaborate closely with Admissions Counselors to support their work and complete individualized tasks. Participate in orientation, registration, graduation, and college promotional activities as needed. Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team setting. Positive attitude and enthusiasm. Good time‑management and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred). Eligibility Applicants must be enrolled at Southwestern Michigan College on a full‑time or part‑time basis (minimum 6 credit hours during fall and spring semesters and 3 credit hours during the summer semester).
