Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic healthcare team in a facility located in Montgomery, AL. Candidates will be working in various specialized units, including Trauma, Neuroscience, MedSurg/Oncology, Orthopedic, and more.Facility Information492 beds, Level I Trauma Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Primary Stroke CenterUnit Information6 North Trauma Surgical: Beds: 23, Patient Types: General Surgery and Vascular surgeries, Skills Required: Trauma/surgical experience, wound care, chest tubes, NG tube management, IV skills, medication administration, and documentation.5 South Neuroscience: Beds: 33, Patient Types: Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Seizures, Spinal Fusion, Craniotomy, and more, Skills Required: Central line management, tracheostomy care, PEG tube management, colostomy/ostomy care, and wound care.5 North MedSurg/Oncology: Beds: 39, Patient Types: General MedSurg patients, Oncology patients, palliative care, Skills Required: Trach care, chest tubes, chemotherapy administration (if certified), IV starts, wound management.3 South Orthopedic: Beds: 20, Patient Types: Orthopedic and spine surgeries, Skills Required: Management of PCA pumps, wound care, dressing changes, and drains.3 North MS/Ortho/Urology: Beds: 23, Patient Types: Urology, orthopedic, MEDSURG patient types, Skills Required: Trach care, wound care, wound vacs, IV skills, and following nurse-driven protocols.Position ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients across various specialty units. Monitor and assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (Cerner preferred). Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.QualificationsMinimum of 18 months of experience in MedSurg and/or ICU. Experience with Cerner or EPIC electronic medical record systems. CNA support available with a patient ratio of 1:10-12. Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS.Scheduling and OrientationWeekend rotations: Every other weekend or four weekend days per month. Orientation: 24 hours in the classroom and 24 hours on the unit for new travelers. Holidays: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.Additional InformationLocational Parking: Free parking is available on the 2nd through 4th levels of the parking deck.
