Job Title: Industrial Painter

Pay: $18/hr - $22/hr

Location: South Sacramento

Shift: 5am - 2PM / Monday - Thursday 4-10

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced industrial painter with experience in industrial coatings and primers. The ideal candidate will be familiar with spray systems, as well as the mixing, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment. They must also be capable of checking finished products for proper film thickness according to specifications. Please note that house painting experience is not applicable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial coatings and primers using spray systems.
• Mix, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
• Check finished products to ensure proper film thickness per specifications.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding and other techniques to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet painting schedules and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience with industrial painting and coatings.
• Proficiency in using spray systems and mixing equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Familiarity with checking film thickness to meet specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience related to painting.
• Skill in sanding and paint preparation.

Work Environment

Work primarily outdoors in a steel plant setting. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 6 AM to 5 PM, providing an extended weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
