Occupational Therapist

Contract position for an Occupational Therapist. The role is for a duration of 13 weeks. Acute care experience is preferred. The unit has a total of 72 beds. There are two Physical Therapists and one Occupational Therapist on staff. The staff also includes PRN SLP and other support personnel. Patient ratios should be managed according to unit guidelines. The environment supports high levels of coordination and communication. Staff have access to advanced equipment and technology. There is a rotating weekend schedule approximately every 3 to 4 weekends. The ideal candidate should respect colleagues and patients. Attention to safety and a caring demeanor are essential. Time management and independent attendance are required. No specific call requirements are outlined. Wound care experience is preferred but not mandatory. The team includes experienced staff, enhancing support and mentorship. Dress code includes Caribbean blue scrubs or khaki bottoms with a navy polo.
