Maintenance Mechanic

Zing Recruiting, in partnership, with a leading manufacturing company is seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. Location: Oakland, NJ
Shift: 1st shift hours + OT as needed (7am-3:30pm)
Pay Rate: $30-$32/HR Qualifications

- Education: High School diploma required; Associates/Technical degree preferred.
- Licenses: Fork Lift Certification; Electrical or plumbing license preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role.
- Skills: Proficient in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and machine repair. Familiar with hand and power tools, safety procedures, and OSHA standards.
- Complete maintenance on production and utility systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Maintain communication with departments regarding production efficiency.
- Document work clearly and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
- Follow safety practices and maintain a clean work environment.
