Location Miami, FL Job Type Full-Time | Regular Shift Nights | Rotating Weekends Facility Level I Trauma Center Position Summary As a Trauma OR RN, I will provide critical intraoperative care to patients experiencing complex, life-threatening injuries. I will work alongside top trauma surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to deliver rapid, precise, and compassionate care. I will manage a caseload of trauma patients during surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile protocols, safety standards, and surgical best practices. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct and specialized nursing care to trauma patients during surgical interventions Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure seamless coordination during procedures Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and instruments Document patient care activities accurately and in real time Maintain knowledge of surgical techniques, emergency protocols, and instrumentation Support post-operative handoffs and transitions to appropriate recovery units Remain calm and effective under pressure in high-stress, time-sensitive situations Qualifications Current Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure (per Florida Board of Nursing requirements) Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Required) BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire) (Required) Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Trauma OR or Operating Room (Required) Strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and teamwork skills Schedule Full-Time Nights Rotating Weekends flexibility required for trauma coverage needs Compensation & Incentives Hourly Rate: $39.57 $53.34 (Based on 17+ years of experience) Sign-On Bonus: May be available on a case-by-case basis Additional benefits available through our healthcare partner, including health, dental, retirement, and more #J-18808-Ljbffr globalplacementfirm
