# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Postpartum / Newborn Nursery) – Texas**Start Date:** August 10, 2026 **Location:** Irving, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift (7:00 PM), 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend**Highlights:** - 13-week assignment on a dedicated Postpartum and Newborn Nursery unit- Care for postpartum recovery patients, high-risk antepartum patients, and newborns- Meditech electronic medical record system- Flexible floating policy as needed- Royal blue scrubs provided for unit identification- Collaborative unit environment with opportunities to utilize advanced maternal-fetal skills**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)- BLS and NRP certification required- Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience- Experience in postpartum care, newborn nursery, and caring for high-risk antepartum patients- Proficiency in IV placement and postpartum recovery procedures- RNC-OB certification preferred but not required- Experience with Meditech and advanced fetal monitoring is a plus**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a supportive hospital environment.
