As a Security Officer Armed in Tualatin OR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures following post instructions and/or supporting emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas common spaces parking locations and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help control access observe customer and employee activity and/or report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing merchandise areas assisting with incident response and/or completing required reports related to security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience using handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
