Seasonal Travel RN – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members during day shift operations
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time when on call
• Prioritize patient experience and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced recovery environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care hospital PACU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Flexibility with scheduling and hours
• Experience with post-operative care for craniotomy and orthopedic patients
