As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, tenant corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalating matters as appropriate. Observe and report unusual activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Assist with access control, visitor assistance, directions, and tenant support while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
