Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - General Cardiology (Inpatient and Outpatient) Shift: 4-10 hour Day Shifts, 7a - 5p with a weekend rotation. No Holiday's Experience: 1. 2 years Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred in Cardiology 2. Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Cardiology preferred. 3. Will consider new graduates with Cardiology background or Cardiology clinical rotations Education: 1. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required. 2. MSN Required.

Licensures/Certifications: 1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Practitioner, or by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure. 2. Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or (CRNP) Certified Registered Nurse 3. BLS certification required. 4. May require ACLS certification. 5. May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support) 6. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved. This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
