As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, professional customer service, and timely reporting of observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, administrative areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
