Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. This role involves the preparation, sterilization, and management of surgical instruments and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in patient care. The technician will work directly within the Sterile Processing Department and collaborate closely with surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assemble and maintain sterilization trays and sets.
• Utilize high-level disinfection (HLD) processes and monitoring equipment.
• Document sterilization processes and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing; 2 years preferred.
• Certification as a Technician by CBSPD or CRCST.
• Knowledge of sterilization wrapping procedures and equipment documentation.
