Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery

Location: Overland Park, KS

Number of Beds: 13 beds plus 3 triage beds

Number of Staff: 69

Patient Ratios: AWHONN guidelines 1:1 for labor and recovery; 2 patients for Cytotec or Cervidals

Type of Equipment: Fetal Monitoring, OR equipment

EMR: CPN/GE

Required Skills: Labor and Delivery experience

Preferred Skills: OR circulation for C-section, Catching newborns, Antepartum experience

Typical Procedures Performed: Vaginal deliveries, C-Sections

Best Personality Fit: We seek individuals who demonstrate a culture of caring and compassion in their approach to patient care.

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Floating Area(s): Mother Baby, Women's Surgery

Weekend and On-call Requirements: Rotating weekends with no on-call responsibilities.

Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years is required.
