Job Title Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor Job Description This position works out of our Lake Mary, Florida location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. The AR Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team, focusing on workforce management, productivity optimization, timely claim resolution, and first-line escalation support. What You’ll Work On Interview, hire, train, and supervise AR staff, monitor productivity, and provide coaching and performance feedback. Oversee time and attendance, productivity scorecards, workflow backfills, and adherence to performance standards. Identify, document, and analyze denial trends to improve processes and reduce future denials. Maintain and distribute aging reports; ensure timely follow-up and accurate cash posting. Develop and implement workflow policies to increase efficiency and compliance. Serve as first‑line escalation for AR collectors to resolve complex issues and payer disputes. Prepare reports and analyses to support leadership decision‑making. Required Qualifications Technical Diploma. 4+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or AR experience. 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong understanding of payer rules, denials, and billing workflows. Proficiency with AR systems and Excel. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or AR experience.
