CNC Horizontal Mill Operator

A manufacturer in North Ridgeville, OH is hiring a CNC Horizontal Mill Operator on a direct-hire, full-time basis. This is one opening. Pay starts from $30 per hour, depending on experience.
The operator sets up and runs horizontal milling machining centers, along with CNC setup work on HMCs and NLX machines. The work includes loading and checking parts, verifying offsets, watching cycle times and keeping tight tolerances on each run. The role works second shift and the start date is flexible.
Candidates should live within about 30 minutes of North Ridgeville. Experience with conversational editing and G and M codes at the machine, DMG Mori equipment, or mill-turn work on NLX machines is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run horizontal milling machining centers
- Perform CNC setups on HMC and NLX machines
- Load, check and measure finished parts to print
- Verify tool offsets and make small program adjustments at the machine
- Keep machines running and report any issues to the shift lead
Requirements
- Hands-on experience running horizontal milling machining centers
- Willing to work second shift
- Experience as a CNC setup operator on HMC or NLX machines
- Lives within 30 minutes of North Ridgeville, OH
