Industry Computer Software Type Public Company About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Director of Revenue Accounting to lead its global revenue recognition function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, scalability, and compliance of revenue accounting practices in accordance with US GAAP, particularly ASC 606. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's strategic initiatives, including the transition to subscription-based models and the expansion of enterprise license agreements. The Senior Director will also be a key advisor to senior leadership, influencing business and commercial decisions with deep accounting expertise and forward-looking insight. Key responsibilities for the Senior Director include building and maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships, leading enterprise-wide initiatives, and owning the design and improvement of the order-to-cash revenue accounting process. The role requires a leader with a strong technical accounting background, commercial deal desk exposure, and experience in mid to larger size companies. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, a minimum of 15 years' of progressive accounting experience, and a proven track record of leading global accounting teams. Experience in the software industry, particularly with revenue automation and subledger systems, is highly valued. The Senior Director will also be involved in governance and audit, ensuring SOX compliance, and will be responsible for the leadership and development of a global team.
