TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: 2 years of cardiovascular experience preferred Charge experience is a plus Proficient in Epic charting system Description: PCU Nights position available in a cardiac stepdown unit. The unit has a significant cardiac patient population. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week are available. First-time travelers are accepted. Local travelers are welcome. Patient ratios are 1:4 on the unit. Weekend requirements are as needed, rotating. Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs. No call requirement is associated with this position. RTO parameters must be followed as outlined. Experience with respiratory management and blood product administration is essential. Candidates must be comfortable with cardiac telemetry and managing cardiac drips. Candidates should possess skills in IV starts, wound care, and telemetry monitoring. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The average daily census is 38 patients. The unit has 55 available beds. Preferred skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage non-invasive airway management effectively.
