JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support the Shop Manager: Supports the Shop Manager with daily operations including product picking, forging, grinding, cleaning, painting, finishing, and using powered tools.
• Equipment operation: Operation of laser engraving equipment.
• Shipping & Fulfillment: Preparing, packaging, and executing fulfillment of each order.
• Shipping Supplies Inventory: Maintains shipping supply inventory and communicates when items needs to be restocked.
• Handle expedited orders: Ensures clear communication and timely resolution of expedited order requests. 
• Safety: Following all shop safety procedures and company standards.
• Keeping the shop and office clean and organized.
• Taking out trash and cleaning up work areas after tasks are completed.
• Communication should be clear, proactive, professional, and respectful.
• Working together to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Following company safety procedures and policies.
• Assisting team members when needed to support daily operations.

​ Qualifications & Desired Traits:

• Availability to work full-time (8 hour shifts, M-F).
• Comfortable working with powered hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Close attention to detail, as this position is in charge of ensuring the right items are sent to the correct recipient.
• Highly organized
• Flexible, as we are a small business and team members are expected to step into other roles if needed.

Bonus Qualifications (not required, but preferred )

• Prior experience in order fulfillment.
• Prior experience forging or working with sheet metal or laser cutting equipment.

What We Offer:

• Starting pay at $20/hour with opportunity for overtime. Pay may be increased as skills and responsibilities increase.
• 8 hour work day, Monday through Friday. Typically 7:30am-4:00pm with a lunch break.
• We take off all major holidays, and some postal holidays.

  • Receiving and managing payments.
  • Operating shop equipment.
  • Coordinating with shipping carriers, printing postage, handling outbound and inbound packages.
