Patient Volume: Approximately 8-9 patients/day

Availability & Schedule

Monday-Friday
8-hour shifts
7:30 AM-3:30 PM
First patient: 8:00 AM
Last patient: 3:00 PM
No call
No weekends
Urgent need

Licenses & Certifications - Required

NY License - Must be in hand
Board Certified - Required
Active BLS certification - Required
AHA or RQI certification
Epic experience - Required
Residents/Fellows - Not accepted

Clinical Experience

Seeking an APP with experience appropriate for a pre-operative/pre-anesthesia setting .

Primary Responsibilities

Pre-operative evaluation and optimization
Review H&P and relevant patient information
Chart review and data collection
Utilize existing optimization protocols and resources
Identify and coordinate appropriate referrals
Work closely with Surgery/Anesthesia teams

Surgical Specialties

Orthopedics
General Surgery
Urology

Clinical Setting

Ambulatory office-type setting focused on pre-operative assessment
Outpatient pre-operative visits; patients are not having surgery the same day
Primarily chart review, patient assessment, data collection, and coordination of care
No procedure-based skills required

Key Selling Point: Consistent full-time Monday-Friday locums schedule with no call, no weekends, approximately 8-9 patients per day, and no procedure-based skills required.
