This contract position is based on-site near Glendale, AZ, and runs through May 2027. Openings are available for both a Structured Teaching Classroom and a Resource Teacher. You'll play a vital part in the lives of students by guiding their educational development and advocating for their needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
• Current or ability to obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience working with IEPs, developing and implementing specialized instruction
• Familiarity with compliance for federal, state, and district special education requirements is helpful
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Team-focused, with excellent communication for interacting with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students per their IEPs
• Provide case management services for students with IEPs, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Develop and implement a full continuum of services tailored to individual needs
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation
• Consult as part of the RtI process and offer guidance to staff
• Partner with colleagues to support accommodations and modifications in the classroom
• Offer behavior management support and execute behavior intervention plans as needed
• Foster ongoing collaboration and communication with parents and guardians
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive learning atmosphere
• Take on other duties as assigned to support student success
