Job Overview This posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. The physician is not an employee of MedCBO. The physician governs clinical operations, clinical decisions, and sets patient care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide dermatology care within the physician’s scope of practice. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO support. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation (EHR, telehealth, clinical workflow) Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination HR administration, staffing workflows, compliance support Supply chain and vendor coordination Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Interest in community‑based care. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
