The Greer Group has 40 + new positions temp-to-hire for manufacturing opportunities available in Canton, Swannanoa and Asheville, NC for dependable Assembly and Machine Operator candidates. These positions are with established manufacturing companies offering excellent schedules, overtime opportunities, super benefit packages and long-term career potential after 90 days. 

Pay rates start from: $17.00 - $23.00

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Assembly / Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, assembling products, inspecting materials, and supporting daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Assemble products and components according to company specifications
• Perform visual quality inspections on materials and finished products
• Monitor machines during production runs and report any issues to supervisors
• Load and unload materials from production equipment
• Maintain production records and follow work instructions
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and attendance expectations
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Schedule Options

Multiple shifts are available to fit a variety of schedules, including:

• 1st Shift
• 2nd Shift
• 10-hour shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Monday–Thursday schedules
• Monday–Friday schedules

Pay Rates:

Pay ranges from $17.00 - $23.00 per hour , depending on shift and job type. Overtime pay after 40 hours worked.
