Community Association Manager

The QTI Group is partnering with a well-established residential community association in the Madison area to identify a Community Association Manager . This is a hands-on leadership opportunity great for someone who enjoys balancing operations, team leadership, budgeting, vendor management, and resident relations in a highly visible role. The Community Association Manager serves as the primary operational leader, partnering closely with the Board of Directors to oversee day-to-day operations, staff, facilities, financial planning, and long-term community initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, sound judgment, and a customer-focused approach while helping maintain and enhance a community residents are proud to call home. Location: Onsite in Madison, WI Compensation: $75,000-$83,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a competitive benefits package including health and dental insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, holidays, and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Association, including oversight of community facilities, grounds, maintenance activities, and resident services Hire, develop, and supervise the Office Manager, Grounds Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, and supporting staff Manage vendor relationships, contracts, bidding processes, insurance matters, and operational procedures Oversee the annual budget, financial reporting, billing, audits, reserve planning, and long-range capital improvement planning Direct maintenance and landscaping efforts across 58 acres of common property and community amenities Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns, enforcing policies consistently, and maintaining strong community relationships Partner with the Board of Directors and committees by providing recommendations, operational expertise, meeting support, and monthly reporting Develop and improve systems, processes, and operational efficiencies that support the long-term success of the Association Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and applicable regulations Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in community association management, property management, hospitality management, real estate, or a related operational leadership role Leadership experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and long-term planning initiatives Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage residents, vendors, board members, and employees Working knowledge of property maintenance, landscaping, facilities management, or construction-related projects Ability to balance customer service, operational priorities, and policy enforcement with professionalism and sound judgment Strong leadership presence with a collaborative, service-oriented approach Experience working with homeowner associations, condominium associations, nonprofits, or resident-led organizations preferred CMCA, AMS, or PCAM designation, or willingness to pursue professional certification preferred Willingness to complete criminal and caregiver background checks, and driving record check If you're a relationship-driven leader who enjoys improving operations, building strong teams, and making a lasting impact on a vibrant community, we'd love to connect with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
