Medical Science Liaison - Obesity and Related Conditions - Kansas

Amgen Inc

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for its obesity franchise covering Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. The role involves serving as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and opinion leaders, executing medical strategy, and conducting peer-to-peer clinical discussions to advance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and population health decision makers
Engage clinical investigators and research sites supporting the obesity pipeline
Present clinical, scientific, and economic data to healthcare institutions and integrated delivery networks
Support sponsored and non-sponsored clinical research activities
Provide field observations and insights to internal stakeholders to inform corporate strategies

Requirements

Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience
Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. preferred
1+ years Medical Affairs experience preferred
4+ years medically related field experience including 1 year clinical practice, research, or post-doctoral training preferred
Current biotech or pharmaceutical Medical/Scientific Affairs experience preferred
Cardiometabolic and/or obesity expertise preferred
