Role Description The Behavioral Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Baytown, TX. This position involves implementing ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), providing direct one-on-one therapy to children in clinic, home, or community settings. Daily tasks include collecting and recording behavioral data, following behavior intervention strategies, and assisting with skill-building activities related to communication, social interaction, and daily living. The Behavioral Technician will collaborate with clinical supervisors and families, participate in team meetings and training, and adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis for implementing evidence-based interventions. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for collaborating with children, families, and clinical teams. Candidates should possess skills in Behavioral Intervention to support behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Psychology or related fields to understand child development and behavior. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related discipline preferred. Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is beneficial. Ability to follow clinical guidance, maintain accurate documentation, and manage time effectively in a structured setting. Physical ability to engage in active play, assist with movement, and work at floor level as needed. Willingness to complete required ABA training and pursue Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification if not already obtained.
