Senior Analyst, Analytics Enablement

We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.About the role:The Associate, Analytics Enablement supports the governance, platform strategy, and architecture for our Business Intelligence (BI) platforms - Looker and Data Studio Pro (formerly Looker Studio Pro). Serving as the core enabler for decentralized analytics, data science, and business teams, this role establishes enterprise BI platform standards and governance while driving key platform initiatives, including developer velocity, self-service analytics, and the deployment of AI-assisted reporting features.You will report into the Data Manager II.Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-HybridPay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $106,812 - $140,191. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.Responsibilities:Platform Administration & Access Management: Serve as the primary administrator for Looker and Data Studio Pro, designing and maintaining access control, asset management and workspace permissionsPlatform Reliability & Escalation Management: Act as the escalation point of contact for the platform to evaluate and resolve user issues and ensure system reliabilityPlatform Governance & Auditing: Enforce data governance policies, manage platform folder structures, collect metadata to improve data discoverability, and monitor platform usage to optimize system performance. Lead platform optimization and content migration.Developer & AI Enablement: Enable the AI, Data Science and Analytics teams in efforts to improve developer velocity and configure AI-assisted features within BI platformsCompliance with all applicable laws and regulations Other duties as assignedRequirements:3+ years of experience in analytics platform administration, data operations, technical support, business intelligence, or a related technical field2+ years of experience working with SQL to investigate data, troubleshoot issues, or support analytics workflowsExperience using AI-assisted development tools or configuring AI-enabled analytics capabilitiesBonus points:Experience working specifically with Looker and Google Data Studio Pro to build reports and/or manage assetsExperience exploring, testing, or leveraging emerging AI-assisted features or predictive tools within business intelligence environmentsExperience being the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving user-facing issues to maintain system reliabilityExperience creating user guides, basic documentation, or quick-reference materials to help non-technical users navigate data platformsThis is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.At Oscar, being an Equal Opportunity Employer means more than upholding discrimination-free hiring practices.
