Sunday-Thursday 930pm-6am and will vary depending on coverage needed 90% no touch freight, but may require use of a manual pallet jack 3 years verifiable exp required ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screen Pay Scale: 30.00 per hour Hours: 40 standard, however additional hours will be necessary based on customer needs. Requirements — what you bring: 3 years verifiable exp required ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screen Job Responsibilities: Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight between terminals or customer locations, typically overnight or long-distance routes. Perform thorough pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining adherence to all traffic laws and company policies. Secure freight properly using straps, load bars, or other equipment to prevent shifting during transit. Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other required documentation (e.g., bills of lading, delivery receipts). Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal staff, and other team members regarding route status, delays, or issues. Refuel and maintain vehicle cleanliness, reporting any mechanical issues immediately. Follow all safety protocols and use PPE as required at terminals and customer sites. Occasionally assist with loading or unloading freight, depending on route and customer needs.
