Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, administer medications, manage equipment, and document interventions.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with physicians, the multidisciplinary team, and other disciplines; participate in rounds and care planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record; provide thorough handoffs at shift change.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control practices, pain management, and patient/family education.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California (RN)
- ICU nursing experience preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU environment and adapt to a travel assignment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
